Please read these terms carefully. They explain how our household staffing service works, how fees and online payments are handled, and your responsibilities when using our website.

01About these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Eiger Marvel Private Clients website and to the household staffing, staff residence and related services we provide. "Eiger Marvel", "we", "us" and "our" mean Eiger Marvel Human Resources Consultancies LLC, trading as Eiger Marvel HR & Management Consultancy, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

By using this website, submitting an enquiry or application, or making a payment, you agree to these terms. If a signed engagement letter or service agreement exists between you and Eiger Marvel, that document takes priority over these terms where the two differ.

02Our services

Eiger Marvel is a consultancy that sources, screens and introduces household professionals (such as nannies, housekeepers, cooks, chefs, butlers, chauffeurs, estate managers and assistants) to private clients in the UAE and GCC. We work with partner recruitment agencies in candidates' home countries to widen the talent pool.

• We introduce candidates; we do not supply or hire out workers.
• The employment relationship, including salary, working hours, accommodation and legal obligations, is between the client (or the client's nominated sponsor) and the staff member.
• The client makes the final hiring decision and is responsible for complying with UAE employment and residency requirements for any staff they engage.
• Information on this website describes our services in general terms and is not an offer of employment or a guarantee that a particular candidate or outcome will be available.

03Client engagements

Each search starts with a confidential consultation and a written household brief. The scope, timeline, fees and any guarantee for your search are confirmed in your engagement letter or quotation.

• You agree to provide accurate information about the role, household, salary package and working conditions.
• Candidate details we share with you are confidential and must be used only to assess the candidate for your household.
• If you engage, directly or indirectly, a candidate introduced by Eiger Marvel within 12 months of the introduction, the applicable placement fee becomes payable, whether or not the engagement is through us.
• Trial days, where agreed, are arranged and paid as set out in your engagement letter.

04Fees, invoices and online payments

Our fees are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are subject to VAT at the applicable rate. Typical charges include a search retainer, a placement fee and, where relevant, staff residence charges. The exact amounts and due dates appear on your quotation or invoice.

Online payments

• You can pay invoices online through the secure payment links on our website or the personal payment link your consultant sends you.
• Online payments are processed by our third-party payment provider (currently Ziina). Your card or wallet details are entered on the provider's secure page and are never seen or stored by Eiger Marvel.
• Always include your invoice number or client name in the payment reference so we can match your payment.
• A payment is complete once we receive confirmation from the payment provider. We will send you a receipt by email or WhatsApp.
• Bank transfer is also available on request.

Due dates

• Search retainers are payable before the search begins.
• Placement fees are payable on or before the staff member's start date, unless your engagement letter states otherwise.
• Invoices not paid by the due date may pause the search or the introduction of candidates.

Refunds and cancellations

• A search retainer covers work carried out from the start of the search and is non-refundable once the search has begun, unless your engagement letter states otherwise.
• If you cancel before the search begins, the retainer is refunded in full.
• Where a refund is approved, it is returned to the original payment method. Processing times depend on the payment provider and your bank.
• If you believe a payment was taken in error, please contact us before raising a dispute with your card issuer, so that we can resolve it quickly.

05Replacement guarantee

Where your engagement letter includes a replacement guarantee, we will search for a replacement candidate without an additional placement fee if the placed staff member leaves or is released within the guarantee period, provided that:

• all fees for the original placement were paid on time;
• you notify us in writing promptly, with the reason;
• the role, salary and working conditions remain as described in the original brief; and
• the departure is not caused by a breach of the employment terms or UAE law by the employer.

The guarantee period and any conditions are stated in your engagement letter. The guarantee provides a replacement search and is not a cash refund.

06Staff residences

Where we arrange accommodation for household staff, the deposit, monthly charges, included services (such as transport, utilities and Wi-Fi) and house rules are set out in a separate residence agreement. Deposits are refundable at the end of the stay, less any amounts owed or damage beyond normal wear and tear, as described in that agreement.

07Candidates

• Eiger Marvel does not charge candidates any fee for applying or for being introduced to a client.
• Submitting a CV or application does not create an employment relationship, an obligation to place you, or exclusive representation.
• You confirm that the information and documents you provide are true and that you have the right to share any reference details you include.
• We share your profile with a client only for a suitable role, and we tell you before an introduction is made.

08Using this website

You agree not to misuse this website, including by submitting false information, uploading harmful files, attempting unauthorised access, copying our content for commercial use, or impersonating another person. We may update, suspend or remove any part of the website at any time.

09Intellectual property

The Eiger Marvel name, logo, website design, text and materials belong to Eiger Marvel or are used under licence. They may not be copied, reproduced or used without our written permission. Photographs from third-party libraries remain subject to their own licences.

10Third-party services and links

Our website links to third-party services such as WhatsApp, Google Maps and our payment provider. These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.

11Disclaimers and limitation of liability

• We take care in screening candidates, but we cannot guarantee a candidate's future conduct, performance or length of service. Clients remain responsible for supervising their staff.
• We are not responsible for visa, residency or regulatory decisions made by government authorities.
• To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of opportunity arising from our services or your use of this website.
• Our total liability in connection with any engagement is limited to the fees you paid to Eiger Marvel for that engagement.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UAE law.

12Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page, with its "last updated" date, applies from the date of publication. Engagements already in progress continue under the terms agreed when they began, unless both parties agree otherwise.

13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern informally.
